The exhibition presents for the first time in Zurich works by Spanish artist Serafí Sart Brunet (b. 1961 in Mallorca, Spain). Sart Brunet’s work is strongly influenced by his rural environment as well as his interest in history and early Mallorcan culture. He experiments with different techniques, using materials such as wood, plants and clay that are mixed with a blend of natural colours to give the paintings a relief-like and organic quality.
